Storing your guns

There are a variety of safe options and choosing the right one for you is crucial. There are four main types of safes for firearms:

Locked container constructed of solid steel or timber, securely fixed and weighing less than 150kg. This safe can hold 30 or fewer firearms from Category A, B or C. Locked container constructed of solid steel and bolted to the frame or floor. This safe can hold 30 or fewer firearms from Category D or H. Locked container with the same requirements as storage type 1, locked gun rack, locked storeroom or a locked vault for the storage of more than 30 firearms. Locked container with the same requirements as storage type 2, locked gun rack, locked storeroom or a locked vault for the storage of more than 30 firearms.
